WARRANTY POLICY

All our electric mobility products come with a 1 year warranty for motor, 6 months warranty for controller and charges.  You are to send your Product to our Fresco Bike showroom located at KL area for all rectification and repair work. All freight charges shall be paid by you. We will bear the cost to repair or replace the defective motor part during the warranty period. Our warranty, Goods sold by us shall conform with our specifications therefore and be free of defects in materials and workmanship. We shall make good by the supply of a replacement part or parts, any defects which, under proper use, care and maintenance, appear in Good and which are reported to seller within 3 days after their delivery and which arise solely from faulty materials and workmanship.

Warranty – Electric Scooter , Electric Wheelchair or CP Wheelchair

  1. Warranty for items sold on this website, if provided, will be on CARRY-IN basis, to our Service Centre in Fraser Business Park (Kuala Lumpur). Address :
  • Fresco Bike Workshop : 62-1 , Jalan Metro Pudu 2, Fraser Business Park , 55100 Off Jalan Yew , Kuala Lumpur.
  1. Transportation will not be provided. Customer will need to send to our workshop for repair and pick up once after repaired. On site repair and pick up will incur service charge even though the item is still under warranty.
  1. Warranty period :
    • 1 year Warranty for Metal Frame (Electric Wheelchair & Electric Scooter)
    • 1 year Warranty for Motor (Electric Wheelchair & Electric Scooter)
    • 6 Months Warranty for Charger , Battery , Electric Controller (Electric Wheelchair & Electric Scooter)
    • All other components are considered wear-and-tear and not covered under warranty.
  1. Wear-and-tear components not covered under warranty include:

    a.Seat cushion
    b. Armpads
    c. Tyres / Tube
    d. Paintwork
    e. Rust on metal parts, screw, nuts
    f. Handgrips
    g. Baskets
    h. Plastic covers
    i. Accessories / Wiring
    j. Any other component not stated in point above.
     

  2. In order for a battery warranty claim to be valid, its capacity must fall below 60% of its rated capacity within 6 months of purchase. 
  3. An increase in operating noise from the gearbox or motor sound DOES NOT constitute a failure. With wear and tear, an increase in operational noise is to be expected. Warranty does not apply in such situations.

Warranty will be VOIDED if;

A. The Product has been modified without prior approval from Fresco Bike.
B. Break down is due to accident, exposure to heavy rain, or improper use of the Equipment.
C. Batteries have not been charged according to manufacturer instructions. 

  1. conditions, damage resulting from abnormal wear and tear, improper installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, alteration, unauthorized repair/modification and operation outside of the environment specification for the product.
  2. Conditions, malfunction or damage not resulting from defects in the material
  3. Accessories, unrelated connected materials and product not by manufacturer / Seller.
